01Who we are#

Moments AI is run by Zzeeh Productions, in India.

Moments AI (momentsai.in) is an event photo and video service: guests add photos and videos to an event from their phones and find the ones they’re in, and hosts run their event from a dashboard. It is run by Zzeeh Productions, India (“we”, “us”).

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use Moments AI, why, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do. It covers momentsai.in, every event page, the host dashboard and the Live Wall venue screen.

02Using Moments AI means you agree#

By using Moments AI (momentsai.in and any event page), you agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms and Conditions. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Moments AI.

03What we collect#

When you sign in

Guests and hosts sign in with Google. We receive your name and email address from your Google account, and use them to keep your uploads, matches and events tied to you.

Photos and videos

When you upload, we store the file as you sent it (the original) and an optimised copy for viewing, with its file name, the event and album, who uploaded it and when. Anything your phone saved inside the file, such as the date, the camera or the location, stays in the original.

SnapSeek selfies and face data

If you use SnapSeek, we store the selfie you take. Faces in photos uploaded to an event are indexed (turned into face data that can be compared), so SnapSeek can find matches. We also save your SnapSeek results. See SnapSeek and face data.

Event details from hosts

Hosts give us their event’s details: names, dates, venue, cover photo, schedule or description, and for corporate events their logo, brand colour, social links and sponsor logos.

The Get started form

If you ask about Moments AI, we receive what you enter: your name, email, phone number, company and role, the event type, date, city and number of guests, and your message. We also note how you found us: the first page you opened on our site, the site that sent you, and any campaign tags in the link.

Records of use

We keep records of what happens in the service, such as uploads, SnapSeek searches and how many matches they found, and the venue screens showing a Live Wall. Like any website, our servers and hosting provider log technical details such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested.

04SnapSeek and face data#

SnapSeek finds the photos you’re in from one selfie, within one event.

  • Faces in every photo uploaded to an event are detected and indexed with Amazon Rekognition, in an index kept separately for each event. The index is used only to match selfies within that event.
  • When you take a selfie in SnapSeek, it is compared with that event’s index, and you see the photos that match. Your results are shown only to you.
  • We keep every selfie you take, linked to your account and the event. Taking a new selfie adds another one; it doesn’t replace the earlier ones. Our administrators can see the selfies linked to an account, to run and support the service.
  • Matching can miss photos you’re in, or show a photo you’re not in.
  • Using SnapSeek is your choice. By taking a selfie, you agree to it being used as described here.
  • Selfies and face data are stored and processed by Amazon Web Services in India (the Mumbai region, ap-south-1).

Hosts choose whether guests see SnapSeek at their event. We don’t delete selfies or face data automatically; to ask us to delete yours, write to info@zzeeh.com.

05How we use data#

  • To sign you in and keep your uploads, matches and events tied to your account.
  • To store, show and share event photos and videos as the host sets up, including on the Live Wall.
  • To run SnapSeek.
  • To review host access requests and reply to Get started enquiries.
  • To keep the service safe and working: spam checks on forms, upload limits, and finding and fixing faults and misuse.
  • To understand how the website is used, with Google Analytics, when it is switched on.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t show advertising.

06Who can see photos#

  • Guests. Anyone who opens an event’s link or scans its QR sees the event page and its public albums. Guests sign in with Google to upload, use SnapSeek and open My Moments. A private album is shown only to the people the host gives access to.
  • Hosts. The host sees everything uploaded to their event; decides which albums are public, whether guests can download, and whether SnapSeek and the Live Wall are on; and can hide or delete any photo or video.
  • The room. When the host puts the Live Wall on a venue screen, event photos show there, with the uploader’s name if the host turns names on.
  • Our administrators. A small team at Zzeeh Productions can see events, uploads, selfies and the trash, to run and support the service.

Event pages are not listed in search engines.

07Deleted photos and videos#

Deleting a photo hides it from everyone; it isn’t erased.

When a host or one of our administrators deletes a photo or video, it moves to a trash that only our administrators can see, with both its original and its optimised copy, and it can be restored from there. It is not erased automatically.

To ask for something to be erased for good, write to info@zzeeh.com.

08Service providers#

We use these companies to run Moments AI. They process data for us, to provide their service:

  • Amazon Web Services: storing photos, videos and selfies (Amazon S3, in the Mumbai region, ap-south-1), face matching (Amazon Rekognition, in the same region), and the servers that run our service.
  • Google Firebase: sign-in with Google.
  • Vercel: hosting the website and event pages.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: checking that forms are sent by a person, not a bot.
  • Google Analytics: measuring how the website is used, when it is switched on.

Some of these providers may process data outside India. We also share data where the law requires it, for example with a court or a government authority.

09Your rights#

Write to info@zzeeh.com about your data at any time.

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct, complete or update it;
  • delete it;
  • stop using it where you gave your consent (this doesn’t undo what was done before);
  • deal with a complaint about how we handle it;
  • let someone you nominate act for you if you die or can’t act yourself.

Write to info@zzeeh.com from the email address of your Google account, so we can tell it’s you, and say which event it’s about. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

10Children#

If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must agree before you upload or use SnapSeek. Children often appear in event photos; a parent or guardian can ask the host to hide a photo, or write to info@zzeeh.com.

11Security#

Everything is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Files are stored on Amazon S3, which encrypts stored data. Signing in is handled by Google, so we never see your password, and only our administrators can open the admin tools.

If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

12Cookies and browser storage#

  • Signing in with Google keeps you signed in using your browser’s storage.
  • Event pages can remember your language in a cookie, and keep your SnapSeek results until you close the browser.
  • Our website keeps your Get started answers, and how you found us, in the browser until you close the tab.
  • A Live Wall screen keeps a random identifier, so the host can see how many screens are showing the wall.
  • Google Analytics, when it is switched on, uses cookies to measure visits. Cloudflare Turnstile may check your browser when you send a form.

You can clear or block cookies and storage in your browser’s settings. Signing in needs browser storage to work.

13Changes to this policy#

We will update this policy when the service changes, and change the date at the top of this page. Using Moments AI after a change means you accept the updated policy.

14Contact and complaints#

Zzeeh Productions, India. Email: info@zzeeh.com. To complain about how we handle your personal data, write to the same address with “Grievance” in the subject.
